Wha’….?

So – what is the price of hyperbole?

Union Sues Indiana Governor;
Claims Right-To-Work Law Enforces Slavery

An Indiana union suing Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels over right-to-work legislation is claiming that it violates the 13th amendment — the law that outlaws slavery.

In the lawsuit, the union claims that the Indiana right-to-work bill “requires dues-paying union members to work alongside non-union personnel,” which the union contends is slavery.

Yep, that’s slavery. Sure.

1. (Law) the state or condition of being a slave; a civil relationship whereby one person has absolute power over another and controls his life, liberty, and fortune
2. the subjection of a person to another person, esp in being forced into work
.

Hmmm…. that second definition sounds like being forced into a union in order to earn a living….!
